"Where is Bali?” Did you ever have this question in your mind? If you do so, perhaps "a tropical paradise” is what you will get next. That image often appears when people hear the name "Bali”. But it clearly doesn't answer the question of where is Bali. Where is Bali exactly? And what is so special about it?

Then if you're still wondering "Where is Bali in Indonesia?” Let's see that Indonesia is made up of over 13,000 islands, and is located on both sides of the equator. The main islands in Indonesia are Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Bali, Lombok, Sumba, Flores, Timor, Irian Jaya, Sulawesi, and the Moluccas. Bali Island itself is located at the centre of the Indonesian archipelago, and lies at approximately 8 degrees south of the equator. Bali is one of 17,000 islands (6,000 inhabited) in the archipelagoes that make up the country of Indonesia. It is 145 km (90 miles) long and 80 km (50 miles) wide. Bali is situated just east of the island of Java and west of Lombok, in the Indian Ocean.
