Denpasar Bali, the Heart of the Island
Bali Island is not a big island but it provides you with lots of things to do in Bali when you visit there. Bali as a dream island for tourist destination has Denpasar as its capital city. Denpasar Bali is an important city of Indonesia. It hosts Ngurah Rai Bali Airport which is one of Indonesia's biggest airports.
It mostly generates its revenue from the tourism to the area, as the city is host to some of the most beautiful sights of the world. Denpasar Bali is a good tourist destination with the well managed and established beaches where people and families like to spend their weekends. Kuta beach is famous worldwide for surfing purposes. Legian beach and Cangu beach are also famous beaches of the island. Denpasar Bali's sand beach is white, attracting people to feel the pristine beach.

Denpasar Bali beach area, it has been seen that among tourists like to spend some time in the area of Kuta for a nice cup of coffee. Some of the tourists even like to spend the nights in these well furnished hotels and restaurants. Denpasar Bali's most unique thing is its jewelry and other handicrafts. The jewelry designs of the city are famous all over the island. It attracts many tourists with its unique styles of handicrafts. There are many types of pottery designs, jewelry designs, textile designs and many others. "Batik Bali” cloth is the most unique item among those entire handicrafts. It is very fine material, looks very beautiful and also is very cheap in the region. Denpasar Bali and
Kuta Bali, has overall gained a very important position as being considered as heaven for shoppers. Denpasar Bali also has the Pura Jagatnatha, a temple dedicated to
Bali's Supreme God, Sang Hyang Widi. There are interesting statues of a turtle and two mystical dragons in the temple, signifying the foundation of the world. The Pura's awesome architecture resembles that of Balinese palace. It has now been converted into a museum housing a fine collection of prehistoric and modern art.
